The faculty of NETC's Computer Programming Technology (CPT) Department have a combination of more than 50 years of computer-related experience among them. In addition to their teaching duties, these faculty members are responsible for long-term planning of the department's future including the development of new courses deemed necessary for the success of their students. Faculty members also act as advisors to the students in the CPT program. Should students have questions regarding the fulfillment of their degree requirements, they are encouraged to contact their assigned advisor since this person has access to all applicable student records.

The CPT department also has a number of long-term adjunct faculty members who bring their work-related experiences into the classroom to provide the CPT major with additional educational opportunities by learning from those who have been "in the field".
