Degree Requirements


Our curriculum is designed to provide the degree graduate with a well-balanced combination of theory and hands-on computer instruction. Also, general education requirements provide the graduate with complimentary skills needed to make them successful in the workplace.

Graduates have endless opportunities available to them. Potential careers include:

In 1998, computer programmers held about 648,000 jobs in the United States. In South Carolina, computer programmer positions are expected to rise by almost 13 percent by 2006, while Systems Analyst positions are expected to rise by 24 percent.

The curriculum is reviewed and updated on a timely basis to assure that graduates are receiving the training necessary to secure employment in a variety of computer related professions. This review includes the upgrading of existing course content and the creation of new courses.

Classes are offered for Day and Evening students at our four campuses: Cheraw (Main campus), Bennettsville, Dillon and Pageland. Classes meet as follows:

The student may select from any coursework to fulfill these 6 hours as long as they have met any pre-requisite coursework
